Wise Pond was formed in August, 2007 to provide a full range of consulting services focusing on assisting companies and individuals reach desired outcomes. Much of the methodology used by Wise Pond is based on the work of Robert Fritz.

Problem Solving vs Desired Outcomes

A problem is something you don't want. A desired outcome is something you do want. If you get rid of a problem, you might not have what you want. You might not even be closer to what you want. You can't simply invert the problem statement and claim it is a desired result. A true desired outcome is independent of currently unpleasant circumstances.
